Go Skateboarding Day is an unofficial holiday celebrated by skaters around the world. The name for the holiday originated from the "No Skateboarding" signs, which were often changed to "Go Skateboarding" by local skaters.
On Sunday 20 Jun 2010, Vans will be celebrating Go Skateboarding Day with Singapore skaters. The event will start from Vans VivoCity where the Vans bus will bring the skaters around town, to the various skaters’ outlets and finally stop at *SCAPE Skate Park at Somerset for some shredding fun. Joining the event for the day will be Hypeman Tech’1, DJ Phay, a host of celebrated skaters and media folks.
Participants will be treated to some cool prizes, goodie bags and lots of food & drinks.
Register at all participating Vans outlets now.
